This yard's shaded area was filled with beautiful boulders that had sunken over the years and became the perfect canvas for a layout redesign and vision!
What our clients wanted:
Invasive grape hyacinth & crabgrass removal
Plants that will thrive in the dry shade area
Regal rocks & garden
What we did:
Invasive species removal
Dug out and redesigned the boulders to create tiered stone garden beds
River rock border installation to edge the garden from the sidewalk
Full garden installation filled with purples, pinks, whites, and yellows
Flagstone path redesign
Moving these boulders sure gave us a workout, but the results were so worth it. We loved installing moss and sedum through the cracks of the boulders to give an overall ancient feeling
