Habitat at Home
Est. October, 2024
In the Kirkendall neighbourhood, this home was ready for a lawn-to-garden conversion!

What our clients wanted:
Remove all lawn area and create a beautiful habitat for our local songbirds, bees, and butterflies.
Plants that will eventually provide privacy to their porch area.
Rain water management from the downspout.
A dedicated space for their garbage bins.
What we did:
Created a river rock path to allow rain water to water the garden.
Provided a functional area for garbage bins.
Planted numerous keystone perennials and shrubs to provide food and shelter to our local pollinators.
Planted a backdrop of native roses that will grow into a privacy screen for the porch.

We're SO happy to have created another home for our local pollinators!
It was also really cool to create an appealing, dedicated area for bins to sit on garbage collection days.
Super excited for this garden to grow in next year!
"It was so nice to come home and see the beautiful garden, thank you!"
