Nina's Garden
Est. October, 2025
In this Westdale garden, our clients requested an abundant prairie garden for & in honour of Nina.

What our clients wanted:
Year-round blooms
Native plants
A path to walk through the garden space
What we did:
Disconnected and extended the downspouts, created river rock streams to direct the rainwater through the garden.
Removed the non-native shrubs and tall grass, and the invasive English Ivy and creeping Bellflower.
Crutched a sumac tree that was at risk of splitting, and laid and flagstone path
Created a personalized perennial fence for Nina
Planted a garden full of native perennial and colourful blooms

We love creating prairie rain gardens and disconnecting downspouts - allowing our clients to experience abundant beauty while managing the rainwater that falls on their property.
"We are so happy with the garden and can’t wait to see it in full bloom next year."
Tania
