The Alleyway Home
Est. May, 2024
Located in the Locke neighbourhood, this partial shade front yard has a steep slope and an alleyway next to it where drivers would frequently cut through their garden

What our clients wanted:
A low maintanence garden with beautiful year-round interest
A large rock to deter drivers from cutting through their garden
Statement piece rocks that make the garden shine
Repurpose their existing stone to create a step path from their patio to the alleyway
What we did:
Removed an invasive plant - Periwinkle
Stabilized the slope with shrubs and perennials
Planted Spring ephemerals, evergreen shrubs, and long-blooming perennials for year-round interest
Installed river rock for aesthetic flow and manage water drainage
Installed statement piece rocks and a step path

We had so much fun creating this artsy garden for our amazing clients! We're so excited to see it grow and bloom!
"Their professionalism, dedication to sustainability and creative eyes and spirits made our garden exactly what we wanted it to be"
