Tiered Rain System

This front yard in Kirkendall received the Green Venture Rain Ready Rebate and was poised for rain-friendly upgrades and a pollinator habitat installation.
What our clients wanted:
Rain water management
A tread-able path for bicycles and strollers
What we did:
Downspout redirection into a 2 part tiered rain management system.
A permeable pathway topped by sedum.
River rock streams guiding water into a lower tier rain garden filled with native perennials.
Terracotta pots placed to add visual interest to the space.
Reorganized the existing plants for a more harmonious design.
With the Rain Ready Rebate program, the homeowners were able to be subsidized for more than 50% of this project! Thank you to the City of Hamilton, Green Venture, and our awesome clients!
